Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on or otherwise using 3V01VE (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Wellness Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. What 3V01VE is

3V01VE is an educational and contemplative resource. It provides written material on philosophy, neuroscience, and meditation, along with practices and reflection prompts. It is not a medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic service and is not a substitute for professional care. See the Wellness Disclaimer for the full statement.

4. Your content

Notes, reflections, and journal entries you create remain yours. You grant 3V01VE a limited license to store and display that content to you for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not sell your reflections, train external models on them, or publish them.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to harm yourself or others, or to encourage either;
• attempt to access another user's account or data;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or systematically copy the written material;
• resell, sublicense, or republish the Service or its content without written permission;
• interfere with the Service's infrastructure or security.

6. Intellectual property

All chapters, practices, citations, illustrations, and code on the Service are the property of 3V01VE or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Limited personal, non-commercial reading and quotation with attribution is permitted.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Journal. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users, to us, or to the platform.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular outcome you hope to achieve.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3V01VE and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct damages will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100) or the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email to your account address. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
